Ascendant Domination
• Mark one space in each Assessment Phase while the Cabal control the Ascendant.
• Erase two spaces each time a Cabal member is defeated.

If this track is filled, the Cabal have assimilated the Ascendant's power and the campaign is over. Remove the Cabal from play, if applicable. Once Adventurers have escaped the current quest, refer to the Consequences section of Quest FC-F on page 24.
Corazon the "Servant"

When noted by a quest, Corazon does not enter play as a Cabal member. Instead, he is Phedra's Companion. He will not engage enemies. He has one Health and uses Phedra's Warded value, boosted as normal.

If Corazon is defeated, Corrupt the Adventurer that defeated him and mark a Corazon's Curse Achievement.

When Corazon activates, if he is unengaged and there are Adventurers within short range and LoS, he expends his actions to manipulate them. The closest Adventurer makes a Persuade roll against Corazon.

  • If they exceed his Persuade value, there is no effect.
  • If they equal his Persuade value, they make one action as if they were an Adversary.
  • If they roll less than his Persuade value, they make two actions as if they were an Adversary.

The Adventurer becomes Fatigued for each action taken.

This is repeated with his next action for the next closest Adventurer if applicable. Otherwise, he follows his normal rules for any remaining actions.
