Defeating the Malagaunt

When the Malagaunt enters play, remove one Revenant card from the deck for each space marked, then reshuffle.

Rewards
Ongoing Research: In each Market Phase, mark the first unmarked Necrotic Knowledge Reward, if any.
Dungeoneer's Wisdom: Reduce this total by 1 to discard a trap token or Dungeon card with no effect.
Soulshield: While item marked "X" is intact and in play, Adventurers gain 1 free Magic peg to resist applicable Revenant card effects. Item may be used as normal, and bearer gains Terrifying. Revenants are not immune to this.
Offer of Aid: Spend 1 Renown to re-roll a Left for Dead roll. You may also draw three Denizen boards before a Rescue Mission. Spend Renown equal to one Denizen's Persuade value (min. 1) to have it join the party for that Rescue Mission only.
Guild Contacts: After each game, draw 2 random Class boards. Any Campaign Phase Skills on these boards may be used at any level, spending Renown instead of Skill pegs.
Necrotic Knowledge Rewards
Tactical Insight: Add one Novice card to the deck for each space marked.
Graverobberry: When making a General Search while in contact with (but not on) a Grave Point, draw an extra token and choose one to discard (traps cannot be discarded).
Poison Resistance: Adventurers may spend a Skill peg (reaction) following a Poison roll to ignore the effects.
Target Weakness: Adventurers may spend a Skill peg (reaction) following an attack roll against a Revenant of rank up to the spaces marked to cause 1 damage.
Telltale Signs: Adventurers may use the Tracking Skill at a level up to their rank.
Combat Experience: Adventurers may re-roll one blank per roll when attacking Revenants.
Hallowing Ritual: Adventurers may spend a Magic peg as an action to deactivate a Grave Point in their square – mark it with a Reminder counter.
